I’m Parul Ankur Kaushal, an engineer by qualification and an artist at heart. I started my professional career as a software professional and after working for 3 years in two different software companies, I was able to convince myself that software wasn’t for me. Basically from Punjab, we are based in Bangalore. But we do take Photography assignments in Chandigarh and Punjab too.
Photography happened to me as a hobby, then it became a passion and in the process it became an integral part of my life. When I started, photography for me was nothing more than pressing a button. I believed that just buying a camera would be enough. But when it started, it got deeper and deeper and world of photography seemed to grow every single day with growing knowledge. The more I clicked, the more I was pulled by the magic called as photography. Yes, it is magical.
Photography is not just a hobby or a profession, its everything for me. It makes me what I am. It completes me. That feeling of capturing the most precious moments of someone’s life is my inspiration and helps me do better every time I pick up my camera.
CREATIVE DIRECTOR : A VERY PASSIONATE PHOTOGRAPHER
You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved. Photographers, like every artist can’t be trained to become great and great photographs can’t be produced just with the equipment. They are just the pictures in your mind, created by the soul which enter into your lenses in the form of light and paint the sensor.
A famous photographer Susan Sontag once said, “To photograph people is to violate them, by seeing them as they never see themselves, by having knowledge of them that they can never have; it turns people into objects that can be symbolically possessed. Just as a camera is a sublimation of the gun, to photograph someone is a subliminal murder – a soft murder, appropriate to a sad, frightened time.” I don’t know how true it is but yes, a good photographer is a very good observer and he masters the art with experience and then comes the time, when he reads his subjects better than they themselves do. And please forgive me if any person is offended by the word subject but believe me, a subject might sound a very trifle term to the world but for a photographer it is divine. A photographer is created by the images and images are created by the subjects. Out endeavor is to provide world class photography services and to be the best photographer be it Bangalore or Chandigarh, basically in all the areas we serve.
